Zurich II Distraction System

The different anatomical conditions and the great variety of defects, hypoplasias and asymmetries encountered in the mandible make high demands on the flexibility and adaptability of the distraction system used.

Modular capabilities, maximum simplicity

Ready-made, conventional models are frequently much too static and therefore cannot match the tasks and challenges of everyday clinical practice. Others have tried totally modular pieces that require assembly in the operatory.

Not so the Zurich II distraction concept. You choose the ideal distraction body and footplate design, but attach a variety of activation arms and use a variety of screw patterns. It is a balance of choice and simplicity.
