Mandibular Telescoping Distractor

In most cases, the cases in which the distractor must be placed are severely limited, sometimes requiring a compromise or second intervention to achieve the ultimate length. Our passion for innovation has led us to the perfect solution for solving this problem - the telescoping gear!

How can you make a gear smaller than the bone it will create?

The telescoping gear is an excellent case of innovation through implementing a common everyday known concept with incredible skill and engineering in a medical device that solved a problem previously thought 'impossible'.

This addition to the Zurich line provides a very small distractor that transforms itself into a large and capable solution.

This option can also be found in the Zurich Maxillary design for LeFort I distraction, where interference with the ascending ramus could be a factor.
